Not Working Out Right Now
I’m sure it’s fairly obvious by my lack of updates, but I’m not really doing anything towards my weight loss right now. But my mom “gently reminded” me that I hadn’t posted here for 2 weeks, so I thought I’d at least pop in to say “Nope, still not doing things right.”
I haven’t written it off entirely, but I haven’t gotten started again yet either. Knowing that there are a lot of holiday meals over the next month makes it hard to want to really work it out… I’ll get back there, but it’s not happening right now. And I hate having to come here and say that.


Hey Jenn! I was wondering where you’d gotten to!
I do understand your perspective about the holiday meals and working out, but what if you think about it differently? If there are going to be all these holiday meals, working out could help you at least maintain your weight over the holidays (if not lose!), and keep your body craving the good, fuel-filled foods!
Remember - we don’t have to be perfect, we just have to keep trying.
One meal isn’t going to undo all the hard work you put in. “all those meals may account for 2 or 3?”
I know, it’s hard…I’m pushing myself, and it’s hard. The rewards…will be worth the work
